
We are fortunate to be in a school district
where things are going well. Students come to school prepared
and ready to learn. Teachers are dedicated. Parents are
involved and supportive. The community support for our school
district is high. If the schools are good, why am I running
for school board against an incumbant? Why not keep the status
quo?
I firmly believe the status quo of having good schools is simply not good enough. I know I can do something about it! When parents talk with me about the education and experiences their children are having in Issaquah School District, I know it can be better. When I talk with people without children in schools, I know our financial stewardship can be better.
